History
Once upon a time, we came across some easy wine...
More than just wine.
The wine tasted good. Surprisingly good.
The year is 2020. Location Middle-Rhein in Germany. Crime Wine's founders have just been introduced to local wines based on the Pinot Noir grape. Blanc de Noir and Rosé with and without bubbles.
This taste must be shared. The ultimate tase of wine for any occation. Beer and Cocktails are replaced with wine. Good times, bad times, every day, with friends or alone. A celebration of here and now.
A business idea is created, and the name was Crime Wine. We do not want to follow the rules! Instead create easy drinkeble wine products from the people to the people, served with respect and humor.
We do not just simply sell wine, we create the ultimate party experience to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
IT'S CRIME TIME!
Drunk in Love...
It's way more than just wine, it is a passion for good times with stupid people.

How we milk our wine-cows
Only the criminal
grapes are picked
Wine-cows. Who came up with this nonsense? Everyone knows that wine comes from barrels.
Even so we’re making easy drinkable wines, we take our commitment deadly serious. All our grapes are grown and harvested by local farmers with long experience. Selected and transported to our preferred cooperating vineyard for further processing and final bottling.
No compromising when it comes to quality and enviroment. All our wines are being made following national standards and traditions.
"Just gonna have a little taste..."
Best part about making wine? A little taste here and a little taste there.

The masterminds
It all came to life by pure coincidence. A bunch of old friends having a good time and sharing stories about the recent trip to Germany. Most of us had limited experience with wine. Hey, half of us didn’t even drink or like wine. Typical beer drinkers. While some of us consider themselves to be self-declared wine experts, and had both produced and imported wine to Norway earlier. But we all understood that the time was overdue presenting the world with an easy drinkable wine alternative.
That spark led to the creation of Crime Wine as it is presented today. It has been a magical journey so far, despite the fact that we had no idea or experience of what we were doing. An extremely steep learning curve, lot of alcohol, and the help from some incredible people.
We will continue what we’ve started, and expand to wherever we’re welcome. Closing words from most of the people we’ve encountered on our journey so far; you can’t come up with this shit, unless you have no idea whatsoever about wine.
Just for those who care, and to honor the masterminds behind Crime Wine. Given in no particular order.
Bjørn Naglestad, Jan Thorsberg, Mathias Løken,
Robert Bader, Mads Aas, Thomas Steen-Larsen,
Bjørn Thorstensen, Morten Clason, Kåre Halle,
and Petter Hennum.
Klaus
The ulitmate wine nerd with more then 50 years experience. He's a German in French clothing.
This old man simply just handles everything.
Erika & Helmut
To keep our wine-cows at bay, we found the most innovative and crazy vineyard farmers north of the equator.
Two-generations of master producers and blenders, and owners of Weinhaus Krauss.
Daliah
The mother of this madness, and owner of the Loreley Winebar. (Crime Wine Drinking-Headquaters).
Without her perseverance we would have never got started.
Daniel "Getafix"
Simply one of the best aroma-magicians the world has ever seen. A French mastermind behind our Jail Juice recipes.
NO, we’ re not going to make a Truffles & Goose Liver taste. Hmmm...
Sharing is Caring
When Nothing else Matters
Giving 1% Back. We’re not trying to score some cheap points. (yeah, yeah, yeah). On the contrary, we’re trying to get the world’s attention to all excessive overconsumption and the associated health problems linked to production and sale of food and beverages.
All producers world-wide should take their responsibility seriously, and aid those unfortunates misusing their products. And it's not just about alcohol and sugar.
The purpose is to give 1% of the profit to a charity, or to someone who cares. In our case, it will be directed towards alcohol abuse and the consequences associated with this.
Giving 1% Back should become a public demand to all manufacturers. Because sharing is caring.

Tasting is Believing
You can decide the future
Wine from the people to the people. If you talk the talk, you must walk the walk. And that’s exactly what we’re doing. Once our wine-makers have made the base-wines with no rest-sugar, we invite common people to participate in deciding the final sugar and acid content for that particular year and country edition. Resulting in our wines tasting different from country to country. And the specific edition is shown on the labels.
If you still don’t believe us, feel free to apply for the yearly wine tasting. Once we’re getting into the new year, we’ll post an invitation on our social media. And randomly pick 20 people who can participate in an epic journey to Germany, or wherever we decide to make our wines.
Because your vote matters.
